How to open internet explorer require website in Ubuntu

You know that Firefox is a default browser of Ubuntu system but sometimes when you trying to open some website (some Indian Bank site) don’t open properly, unspecified layout of webpage or some time you can also find this type of error-
“Please use this application with it 5.0 / 6.0 or above!!!”

But you can solve your problem with IE Tab extension
Because few web pages still don’t display correctly on Firefox due to some CSS problem, or only allow the use of Internet Explorer to view them correctly. This extension allows you to quickly view a page using the IE rendering engine, in a new tab within Firefox.

How to watch star wars in terminal of ubuntu

Most of the people already have watched star wars but if you want to watch Star Wars again in ASCII-style.
This tip may be helpful for you but you need internet connection for it.
Open terminal (use Alt + F2 and type genome-terminal) and use this command
telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl
And press Enter

Window media player 11 & Winamp both are multi media player software for window operating system but you can use theme and change your vlc media player looking like Window media player 11 & Winamp.
For changing look first you need skin file, you can download here

Now press Alt +F2 type gnome-terminal and enter or you can also do same with click application go to Accessories and then click Terminal and type this command and enter.
gksudo nautilus /usr/share/vlc/skins2
Enter your root password if it is asked to you.
Now copy and paste your skin file here (/usr/share/vlc/skins2) from your download location
Now open vlc player press Ctrl + P or go to Tools and click on Preferences…
Click Skins radio button then click browse and choose your vlc skin file (/usr/share/vlc/skins2)

Select your skin file and click open button now click on save button and restart your vlc player.

Now enjoy with your new vlc player skins.

How to restore original VLC skin and config on Ubuntu

If you have new skin on your vlc player but now you want to change it as a default theme due to some skin problem and lose some configuration options.
You can also find some more things like some skin don’t support drag & drop function.
You don’t need to reinstall again you can do this with some simple steps.
Click on Places and go to home folder in panel.
Click on view in menu bar and click on show hidden files or you can do same thing with (Ctrl + H)
Now open .config folder
Delete vlc folder
Restart / start VLC player in application menu and set up your settings from beginning.
