Generally most two way use to open command prompt in windows xp-
1.Start > All programs> accessories > Command prompt
2.Press Window logo + R , type Cmd and then enter
But in this all condition when you go to in any deep directory , it’s more difficult to type many command and wasting more time, but you can solve this problem with Cmd Here Powertoy tool, After installing this software right click any directory / folder and click open command windows here .
Now You can directly open this directory without type any command.
