Restore your delete file in desire location in windows vista

You know that when you delete any file from your hard drive it always goes into recycle bin, but unfortunately when you delete your important file and you want to get it again. This is the main & simple way, open recycle Bin and select your desire file then right click and restore.

When you use this way your file always goes into the same place where your file present before deleted.

If you want to restore your file in new location, just chose your file or folder which you want to restore and drag & drop your desire location.

This tip also work with Windows 7 & windows xp

Most of the people work on internet, keyboard is mostly used for typing website URL (address) and if your typing speed is good you can save some time but if you know some browser trick you can also increase your keyboard life and save some more time.

Type only example in address bar / Location bar then press Ctrl + Enter and you will get www. & .com automatically
Work with – Firefox, opera, Internet Explorer -6, 7, 8, Google Chrome, Safari

Type only example in address bar / Location bar then press Shift + Enter and you will get www. & .net automatically
Work with – Firefox
www.example.org
Type only example in address bar / Location bar then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter and you will get www. & .org automatically

Now you can see that you can save 8 Keystrokes every time when you open one website and in this situation Firefox is best because it also support .org & .net shortcut.
Bookmarks and browser home page is another options for saving some keystrokes.

safari have some other extra good features and take care of you if you want to open same web page with other browser which you surf with safari and you can do this with only two clicks.
Go to menu bar on safari browser click on develop then click open page with and select web browser which open your current web page.

Here you can see that 4 browsers (opera, Firefox, chrome, internet explorer) list display in above image. it depends that which web browser is installed in your system.
If you don’t found develop menu in menu bar first show it, for showing develop menu go to menu bar click edit then preferences… click on advanced tab and select show develop menu in menu bar check box (in bottom ) and close . Now you can see that develop menu shows in menu bar.

Change default web browser with safari easily

Most of the people use internet web browser like Firefox, Google chrome, internet explorer- 6, 7, 8, opera, Safari for net surfing.

If you use more than one browser including safari. You can easily change your default browser with safari and handle your all browser easily. Whenever you install new browser and you don’t keep more attention, definitely your new installed browser is set as a default browser.

Default browser –which web browser(Firefox, Google chrome, internet explorer- 6, 7, 8, opera, Safari or any other web browser) will be open, when you open an Internet shortcut or any html file or click any internet related link , if you have more than one web browser installed on your computer.

Try some interesting thing, only safari browser gives some more advance option for changing default browser which installed on your computer on real time.

Open safari and click on edit in menu bar then click on preferences… , Select General tab key and chose your default browser (list display only installed browser)

Another great reason for using vlc player is – Most of the people use mobile for recoding video clips but most of the video clips are recorded with a little bit problem because they don’t know how to record video in right angle and when you play this video on your computer. it becomes difficult to watch these video clips.

Play video with vlc player, click tools in menu bar then click extended settings… or press Ctrl + E with key board.
Now go to video effects tab and click on Geometry sub tab and select rotate check box (if not selected)

Many tools are available on internet for downloading you tube video. But if you download you tube video without any tool this tips is for you.
Open YouTube in safari browser and select your favorite video, press Ctrl + Alt + A or click window in menu bar and click on activity option. Search biggest size link (normally in Mb) and double click this link.

New window will be open and it asks you for saving file.
If safari don’t ask you for saving file just copy all link from your address bar and open with other browser like Firefox , Google chrome , Internet explorer, opera , and press Ctrl + s and save video file.

Google is known as a popular search engine and everyone use it for searching. I also used Google as a search engine for net surfing but once a very general feature of Google’s search bar came in front of me. This feature of performing simple arithmetic may be of great strength when we avoid open another calculator programs .For simple arithmetic we get help of calculator but now it can be performed using Google’s Search Bar like Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division and calculate percentage and many other arithmetic operations.

Label a Site – Don’t need to remember the exact name of a site

Cooking is my passion, Most of the times I do net surfing for delicious food recipes. A lot of food recipes sites are available on net and some of them are very useful with a number of food recipes but it is very difficult to remember name for every site and very hectic to search them again and again. Once as usual I was on my favorite hobby of searching food recipes I got a very general feature of firefox. Although it is very simple feature but I never used it. I became surprised how I could avoid that. Anyways I used it and found a great way to see all my favorite food recipe sites without remembering names.

For example – sanjeevkapoor.com, food.sify.com, tarladalal.com are my favorite sites
Now we can label the sites sanjeevkapoor.com, food.sify.com, tarladalal.com with the “foodrecipes”. When we enter “foodrecipes” into the location bar, all three sites will be shown with tag name ( foodrecipes ) as results. We may not remember the exact name of a site, but with a tag, we’ll be able to find it in a way that makes sense to us. A single site can have multiple tags, and there’s no limit to the number of tags we can create.

Quick use
Click on the Star at the end of location bar

Simply write the name of Tag for site of our interest for example”foodrecipes”
Now simply write the tag”foodrecipes” at the location bar

Each site with tag “foodrecipes” will be displayed.

Use Google’s search bar as a World Watch

Most of the time I used to sit on net for netsurfing and talking to my cousin which lives in America. and every time it is necessary for me to know the time so that we can talk to each other easily and it became very easy and interesting for me from where I started to know the this great feature of Google for watching time in any location of the World without knowing the GMT.
If we want to find out the time of a particular location like in a city, in a country etc. we simply use some utility software showing time and some operating system which comes with facility for showing time like Windows Vista but some doesn’t provide this facility when you are user of Windows xp and earlier Version of Windows.

In window vista You can use the Additional clocks for watching time but only for names of countries and selected cities but we face problem when we don’t know about the city that in which country this city is located. With Google it has become very easy.
Simply write the name of city or country in Google’s search bar and Enter.
For example: “ time Delhi” or “Delhi time”

If the city is located in different countries the time for city in each country will be shown.
