Temporary Disable “restart your computer” message after windows vista update

By default in window vista after updating important files and other services, system displays “Restart your computer to finish installing important updates” massage.

This system gives time from 10 minutes to 4 hours maximum, if you want to postpone.But sometimes whenever you download any important file or other documents, or you don’t want to reboot or restart your system for many hours. You can use this trick.

1. Follow these steps
1.Press window logo and type in search bar CMD, in resulting window find CMD icon; Right click CMD icon and go to run as administrator.

2.Clicks continue on UAC (User Account Control) dialog box.(if your UAC is enable)
3.Type this command net stop “windows update” or net stop wuauserv and Enter
4.Waiting for some time…

Enable again
By default after reboot ,windows update service will automatically start again. But if you want to start windows update service immediately.

2.Follow these steps
1.Press window logo and type in search bar CMD, in resulting window find CMD icon; Right click CMD icon and go to run as administrator.
2.Clicks continue on UAC (User Account Control) dialog box.(If your UAC is enable)
3.Type this command net start “windows update” or net start wuauserv and Enter
4. Waiting for some time…
